This is the best Japanese dictionary app I have tried. You can not only look up single words and see translations in multiple languages, but also search by strokes, paste an entire text and see furigana on top of the words, see how kanji are written, make your own vocabulary lists etc. Highly recommended!

It’s such a wonderful app, I’ve had nothing but good luck with that and I’ve used it for most every chance I had. I really recommend this out. The developers are wonderful the tech problem-solving is wonderful.

以前は男性名詞、女性名詞、中性名詞か分かるように冠詞も表示されていましたが、いつの間にか表記されなくなりました。これまでは名詞の性が分かる貴重な辞書だったのに、不便になりました。

After the latest update this app is half as useful as it was before. Previously you could paste in a whole paragraph of Japanese and it would give you all the words, but now it just spits out all the individual kanji. My favorite app is a ghost of its old self. Please bring it back to how it was.

The analysis function is amazing, much better than Google translation. You copy a sentence from a conversation, for example, then open this app, it will automatically analyze the sentence for you (what words included, their meanings, and you can further click to each word to learn more). No ads, great!
